Feeling Overwhelmed

Feeling Overwhelmed

Yikes, today I was definitely feeling overwhelmed. There is only 23 days until Burning Man (the biggest, most incredible radical arts and music community in the middle of the Nevada Desert). I have my entrance tickets, but so far no flights have been booked, and with the lease on my apartment expiring in six weeks, my financial situation is precarious. Not losing sleep about it though because my backup option is to head back to NZ for the summer there (yes, a back to back summer!) and carry on doing exactly what I would be doing here in Barcelona, but instead at home with my family and old friends. But given the choice, I would much rather stay here in Spain!

Starting to get some suggestions for improvements and new ideas from friends for this site, which is great, however the technical side to programing this site is giving me a headache. It’s a huge learning curve for HTML and CC-something and .php something else?? Seriously – not blonde friendly at all!

There is this strange condition called IMPATIENCE which I suffer from. If something needs to be done, I want it done immediately, so all these delays dealing with slow customer service support desks, slow internet connections, an email account which kept logging me off after a minute and programming directions which would make more sense if they were written in Japanese is leaving me feeling just a little bit overwhelmed and infuriated. Need to take a deep breath and remember that :

* Rome was not built in a day
* Good things take time
* Perseverance!
* Persistence!
* Calm and Relaxed Mind!!

It’s nice when everything flows and the parts of the puzzle fit together perfectly, it makes you feel like it’s an omen and everything is just how it should be, but then there are the days when progress is excruciatingly slow – those are the times when you need to either see it as a challenge which will make the final success so much more rewarding, or take it as a sign that you are not quite on the right path… maybe you have deviated slightly and need to refocus on your main goal?

With so much to do it’s easy to lose focus on the main intention – to share the Ultimate Lifestyle philosophy and support others to succeed in creating their best life too, and of course for me to live my best life too! So time to take a step back, simply leave all the thrills and fancy stuff for another day and get back to basics, having a great life – the rest will happen organically.
Good luck!
