Good Thoughts in Difficult Times
It’s so easy to have good thoughts and a positive state of mind when everything is going smoothly, but what about when good times turn bad? Obviously, it’s easier to say than do, but these difficult times are when it is even more important to foster good thoughts.
It is an unavoidable part of life, sometimes life will seem to be smiling down upon you one minute, and the next you will feel as if your stars have collided just to teach you a very personal lesson, but life is all about these experiences, because it is through the experiences that we become gain wisdom.
Of course the difficult times are potentially precariously, stressful situations, so it is important you keep it all in perspective. These difficult times are only a temporary phase in the overall scheme of things. The difficult situation that you are in, will not last long. In one, unforeseeable moment, something will happen which will turn the situation around : your phone may ring bringing good news, you might see a local advertisement which provides the missing link you were searching for, an old family friend could reconnect and offer you the deal of a lifetime… anything could happen and something will happen – it’s inevitable, so keeping a cool head and good thoughts flowing your mind (vs. a negative, victim mentality) is going to ensure that you come out of this situation unscathed, and in an even better position than before.
If you were to let the uncertainty of the difficult times overcome you – if you let your mind wander in a state of anxiety and stress about what you were going to do, you would only attract more of the same energy into your life…but how do you maintain your good thoughts and energy in these difficult times?
Gratitude! Focusing on what you are grateful for are good thoughts which effects our emotions. When we are truly grateful for what we have, on the quantum physics level we are changing the vibrational energy and attracting MORE of this positive energy into our lives. Just by exhibiting our appreciation, we are consciously acknowledging and being grateful for what we have, and this is enough to keep our good thoughts positive and happy. Putting everything into perspective and being grateful suddenly makes the minor things just small glitches in the overall scope of the situation, and also acts as an invitation for more of the good things we are grateful for to come into our lives, ensuring our long term happiness.
And yes, life is all an experience – the good, the bad, the ugly, the fun. It’s how we deal with the difficult moments which define and develop us. And self development is very good. Love your life and all the trials and tribulations that come with it.
Make a list of everything you are grateful for, do not forget to include your health, family and friends on that list and then intentionally focus your good thoughts on the things on your list and remember, when things aren’t going your way 1. Put it in perspective. 2. Focus on what you do have / is going right 3. Be grateful and 4. Relax! Have a little faith. Know that this difficult time is only a temporary and the lesson is in how you respond and deal with it!

Hi there,
I stumbled upon your website in desperate search of some help. However, after reading your site, I’d also be interested in hearing more about your FREE mentoring program – sounds awesome. We share a similar path as I recently left my job (January) and am walking a new path in life as well. Anyway, thanks in advance, I would be very much obliged and appreciative.
Cheers
