Hope everyone had delightful New Years celebrations because 2010 is going to be a very, very good year, or so my Astrology Chart told me.

2010 was celebrated with a friends family eating grapes at the stroke of midnight.  The quietest and orderly New Years I have ever experienced in the last 15 years, then New Years Day was celebrated at a massive party in the center of Madrid. 10,000 people, 40 international DJ´s, 14 hours of mayhem.  Or not so much mayhem actually because for the first New Years since passing puberty I was alcohol free and 100% sober for the festivities. An interesting experience!

A good friend is visiting from Switzerland so keeping busy with the sightseeing and tourist routines. It´s been over a year since we last saw each other. She´s fantastic!

One more month of hibernation. Looking forward to moving back into the city center for summer. Oh la la summer. Yesterday it got warm enough to unzip the big winter jacket and feel the suns warmth on the two layers of jumpers underneath. Oh sweet bliss. Definitely over the winter and the cold. It makes my body hurt and living so far from all the action is not so ideal for a young 27 year old.

My man is missing in action. Entered a festival over a week ago on Brazil´s gorgeous beaches with an unknown number of women and I have not heard from him since. Not the greatest feeling in the world, but hey, what can I do? Focus on my projects, drink a bottle of wine, *do some serious drugs to escape reality and get on with life because whatever happens, happens for a reason and life always has a special way of working out just perfectly, or so it helps to keep telling myself.
