Winter isn&#039;t so bad as you picture it. As of winter clothes, you should just follow the &#039;onion&#039; principle: have a few things, which you could wear together, one on the other (hence the name), on multiple layers which trap air and keep cold away. When the summer comes (and the world begins to thaw!!) you can start and wear one piece of clothes at a time. I&#039;ve done it personally once on a coach journey in June from London to Belfast: once in Scotland it started snowing, so I simply wore everything I could. The trick is trying not to look like &quot;Bib the Michelin Man&quot;! ;-)</description>
