Progress is slow and revenue has actually dropped off, believe it or not!  My total revenue earned from Google Adsense program since starting my blogging adventure in August is a grand $12. Whoop, whoop!

HOWEVER, viewership and return visitors are UP, and growing steadily which is promising. I am now a Page Rank 3, from 0. Best Page Rank is 10, but I am just happy not be sitting on Zero anymore and delighted with the small progress I have made so far (after a Page Rank and BackLink Strategy intensive few days admittedly).

With the increase in viewership, but decline in revenue, I can only assume that Google Adsense is not hitting the sweet spot in terms of relevant advertising for my readers, which makes me wonder WHO ARE YOU? And how can I help you live a better life? Hmmm…

After completing an intensive 30 Day Challenge http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/ – thoroughly recommended for anyone considering starting an online business) I revisited my keyword strategy and since I am in this for the long term, I have decided to target some very high traffic keywords which are going to take several months, even years of dedicated targeting to break through on the Page 1 of search results, so I am going to have to be persistent, consistent and dedicated to my strategy. But I´m confident!

While progress has been slow initially, my heart, body and soul is telling me to go on, so who am I to argue? Besides I find it challenging, exciting and rewarding and the opportunities and connections my dear website is making for me are truly invaluable.

Being out of the city centre, while very relaxing and quiet, without internet connection makes life and having a website slightly more challenging too, but hey, that is what is going to make success so sweet at the end of the journey… right?
