Patience and Persistence
Well, life is good. The summer in Barcelona is all but over here. Still warm, but definitely not beach weather. Getting excited about the move to Madrid. Yesterday I got up early and decided to spend the morning seeing some tourist attractions in the city (Wednesday morning – oh la la the joys of living the Ultimate Lifestyle). Visited La Sagrada Familia, which is nothing short of phenomenal. I swear to God, Antoni Gaudi HAD to have been on a.c.i.d. to even conceive of building such an incredible temple in such precise detail, but even more bewildering is the fact that the local government gave him permission and then FUNDED his entire project, which is still on-going (not due for completion until 2030). The entire project is incredible and inspiring!
Been focusing on developing content for this site, which is a really interesting process. The last five years it has taken me to build the foundation of my Ultimate Lifestyle has been a very personal experience with a lot of lessons learned, now to put all those lessons into writing to be used as a guide to help other people create their Ultimate Lifestyle is difficult. Difficult to find the right words, or even to intellectualize the process..
Having so much fun with the Free Life Coaching as well. Connecting with great people with loads of dreams and ambitions from all over the world : Germany, Italy, England, New York, San Francisco and even Jerusalem! I get off the calls feeling really excited for them and have a sense that this is the beginning of an international support network.
Sooo much to learn though. It’s incredible. Yes, there are a million ways to make money, but you need to know what you are doing and that involves an enormous learning process. Right now I am experimenting with online advertising so learning all about website promotion, keywords, SEO, html programming and marketing. There is so much information available on the internet, but just the process of sorting the BS from the authentic genuinely helpful stuff is a task within itself.
Sometimes it is overwhelming. I start with one method, only to find the next day that the method I just tried is a scam and should not be attempted, then to have the next person endorsing it. Confusing!
Patience and persistence, trial and error – actually that sums up the entire theme of the Quest for the Ultimate Lifestyle!
Ironically, I have not left the house much in the last few weeks, been focusing on getting a few things established before heading to Madrid…. all is in order and its time to party tonight – Thursday’s at Macarena if anyone is in the area. It is Barcelona’s BEST underground minimal techno club. It’s small, intimate, has a great sound system and the worlds best DJs play there unannounced. Hopefully they have someone super special lined up tonight to dance the night away to. My favorite thing about Macarena? Is that it is literally two minutes across the road. I walk out my apartment, cross the road, turn right, turn right, and voila!
